Danger Mouse is a British animated television series that was created by Brian Cosgrove and Mark Hall and produced by Cosgrove Hall. It ran from 28 September 1981 to 19 March 1992. The show stars David Jason as Danger Mouse, and Terry Scott as Penfold, and is a spoof of various British spy media, specifically Danger Man and the James Bond franchise. It spawned the spin-off series Count Dckula, and in 2015 a reboot by the same name was released[1]. The entire show is available on both Netflix and BritBox.

- The series notably uses animation cell over and over again from the pilot episode: The Mystery of the Lost Chord, and the rumoured lost pilot The Great Bone Idol. However, a believed cell from the latter pilot, where Danger Mouse is depicted in his original design, which edited in episodes for the final series, so he is wearing is correct attire.
- The series has been parodied as Danger Dog in The Simpsons.
- The entire series is U-rated, according to the British Board of Film Classification.
