The MK IV is the main means of transport for Danger Mouse and Penfold in the 2015 reboot

Designed and built to replace the - almost identical looking - MK III
When the MK IV develops a fault in Grand Stressed Auto, due to it and the rest of the current Danger Agency vehicle fleet being filled with jam, the Mk III was briefly returned to service, only for it to be destroyed after going rogue.
Following destruction of the Mk III, the Mk IV was presumably cleaned out and returned to service.
